Hello everyone that I attended school with (even though it was a short time seeing how I dropped out in 9th grade). But hey alot of you I attended elementary , and middle school with also. I work at an off-reservation boarding for Native Americans and that is what I will be writing about how the Government started the schools and how they affected the lives of Native Americans. | I was just looking around and I agree with Erica about students and former students of NHS to share their memories of high school. I believe one of most memoral moments was when the NHS band won first place in marching contest in 1978-79. The Director was Mr. Troy Lily who passed away a few years ago. That year we took first place in marching everyplace we went. I still have the shirts we wore then and it still has the logo of we are #1 on it. I went to NHS from 1978-1980 then I dropped out of school, but I returned for the years of 1981-1984. I graduated at the age of 21 But, I never regretted one minute of it. I know that I have lost many friends and acquaintences from those years and I still have fond memories of them all. I still look at my year books and can remember what we were like in the late 70's and into the 80's what fun we had. I wish everyone the best in life and maybe one day have a reunion of the 80's classes. | |||
